Pioneer Scholarship- Excellence Path (Bachelor’s Track)

The Pioneer Scholarship (Bachelor’s Track) under the Excellence Path is an elite initiative that empowers outstanding high-school graduates from Saudi Arabia to pursue full-time Bachelor’s degree programs abroad. This scholarship specifically targets future leaders and change-makers by focusing on majors that directly support the Kingdom’s strategic development priorities and Vision 2030.

Recipients of this scholarship will attend internationally recognised institutions and return equipped with the skills and knowledge to significantly contribute to Saudi Arabia’s growing knowledge-based economy.

• Must hold Saudi nationality.
• Must provide unconditional admission to a recognised Bachelor’s program abroad.
• High school average (or equivalent) typically 90% or above (or equivalent percentile) for admission consideration.
• The chosen major must be included in the approved specialisation list as defined under the Excellence Path.
• The university and academic program must meet the ranking and accreditation criteria set by the scholarship authorities.
• The study must be full-time and conducted at the main campus of the institution in the country of study.
• For applicants whose secondary certificate was obtained abroad: equivalency of the qualification must be obtained from the relevant Saudi authority.
• Must demonstrate conduct of good standing and submission of complete, correct documentation during the application.

• Admission must be final and unconditional, issued by the university’s Admissions & Registration Office.
• The institution must be among top-tier international educational institutions as defined for this track (e.g., leading global universities) and listed under the program’s Pioneer designation.
• For programmes in non-English speaking countries, conditional admission may be permitted where the student begins by studying the country’s language, subject to the scholarship approval.
• Applicants must meet all other requirements and controls specified by the Ministry of Education (or relevant scholarship authority) under the Excellence Path and Pioneer category.
